Looking for domestic worker recruitment offices has become one of the most pressing concerns for families in Saudi Arabia today, whether for childcare, elder care, or easing the daily household burden on a working mother. With the growing number of licensed recruitment offices in the market, many people struggle to see the real difference between one office and another, and which domestic worker recruitment office truly deserves their trust and money.
In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you step by step through everything related to hiring domestic workers in the Kingdom: from understanding how these offices operate, to precise selection criteria, average pricing, the most common nationalities available, and finally how to compare recruitment offices quickly and safely through a single digital platform, instead of navigating dozens of scattered sources.
Signing with a domestic worker recruitment office is not a one-off transaction — it's a decision whose effects last for months or years inside the household. Here are the key aspects that make this decision a sensitive one:
Service quality shows in how precisely the office matches a suitable worker to the household's needs, and in how honestly it presents information about her experience and skills from the start, without exaggeration or unrealistic promises.
A serious office operates within the regulations set by the official authorities responsible for regulating the recruitment sector in Saudi Arabia, protecting the rights of both parties: the client and the worker.
A good office's role doesn't end once the worker arrives — it continues by following up on any question or issue related to residency, renewal, or adjusting to the new work environment.
Simply put, domestic worker recruitment offices are licensed entities that act as the link between families seeking domestic help and employment sources in labor-exporting countries, handling the contracting, visa, and travel procedures in accordance with regulations approved by the official authorities.
Among the most notable services and responsibilities these offices provide:
Communicating with labor sources in various countries and selecting suitable candidates.
Processing visas and completing the necessary government procedures with the official platforms.
Organizing the worker's travel itinerary and ensuring she reaches the client safely.
Providing basic or introductory training for the worker before starting work, in some cases.
Following up on the contract and providing support if any issue arises during the service period.
It's always important to make sure that any office you deal with holds a valid license from the competent authorities, and that all its procedures comply with the requirements of the official platforms approved to regulate this sector, away from any unlicensed intermediary.

Available nationalities in the Saudi market vary in terms of skills, language, and prior experience. Here are the most notable:
Filipino workers are known for strong command of English, which makes daily communication easier, along with extensive experience in childcare, elder care, and handling modern household appliances.
Kenyan workers have seen growing demand in recent years, thanks to solid general household skills and a quick ability to adapt to a new work environment.
Ugandan workers are a relatively newer option in the Saudi market, known for diligence at work, with growing interest from families looking for varied alternatives.
Bangladeshi workers suit families looking for competitive pricing, with a good ability to perform basic household tasks and follow the household's instructions.
Sri Lankan workers are known for long-standing experience in domestic work, as many have worked in this field for years across more than one Gulf country.
Some offices offer domestic workers from India, generally known for solid experience in cooking and general cleaning, with some variation in Arabic or English proficiency from one case to another.
Ethiopian workers are among the most widely available options in the market, due to relatively faster recruitment procedures and a cost that suits many families.
You can browse the details of each nationality and the workers currently available in real time through the workers page on Ayady, with filtering by nationality, city, experience, and profession.
There is no single fixed figure for recruitment prices in the Saudi market, as costs vary significantly from one office to another and from one nationality to another, depending on several key factors:
The worker's nationality and country of origin, as recruitment costs differ from one country to another.
The worker's experience level and prior skills in specific areas such as childcare or cooking.
Accompanying services such as medical insurance and pre-travel training.
Each office's individual policies and offers, which may change from time to time.
The agreed contract duration and renewal or termination terms.
That's why, instead of relying on a single approximate figure that may not reflect reality, it's always advisable to request an official, detailed price quote from each office individually, then compare recruitment offices based on these actual quotes — something Ayady makes easier by gathering published pricing data from several offices in one place.
The time needed to complete domestic worker recruitment varies based on several factors, most notably the requested nationality, how quickly paperwork is completed on both sides, and the procedures of the official platforms responsible for issuing visas.
In general, the estimated timeline can range from a few weeks to around two months, and may be longer or shorter depending on each case. It's always best to ask the office clearly, in writing, about the expected timeline, and compare it across more than one office before making a final decision — especially if you have an urgent need for a domestic worker.
Here are the most common mistakes many clients make, and it's best to avoid them entirely:
Signing with the first office contacted without comparing other offers.
Not verifying the office's official license before paying anything.
Focusing only on the lowest price without considering service quality.
Overlooking past clients' experiences and reviews of the same office.
Not requesting a written contract detailing all obligations and rights for both parties.
Not clearly asking about the replacement or cancellation policy.
Ignoring questions about potential additional fees after signing.
Not confirming the expected recruitment timeline before starting the process.
Overlooking available installment payment options before signing.
Relying solely on verbal promises without written documentation of important details.
Not verifying that the worker's skills actually match the household's real needs.
After learning all these criteria, the practical challenge remains: how do you actually apply them without spending days calling dozens of offices? This is exactly where Ayady's value comes in — a Saudi digital platform that brings together licensed recruitment offices and companies in one place, helping you compare them instead of searching scattered sources.
Among the standout features Ayady offers to make your journey easier:

What are the best domestic worker recruitment offices in Saudi Arabia?
There's no single office that fits everyone — the "best" choice depends on each family's needs in terms of nationality, budget, and city. In practice, the best approach is comparing several licensed offices based on licensing, pricing, and reviews, which Ayady makes easier by gathering licensed offices in one place for easy comparison.
How do I confirm an office is officially licensed?
You can verify an office's license through the official authorities responsible for regulating the recruitment sector in Saudi Arabia. Offices listed on Ayady are also verified for licensing before being added to the platform's listings.
Can I compare more than one office at the same time?
Yes, Ayady is designed specifically to let you browse several licensed recruitment offices in one place, comparing prices, services, and reviews without navigating multiple websites or phone numbers.
How long does recruiting a domestic worker typically take?
The timeline varies depending on the requested nationality and how quickly paperwork is completed on both sides, usually ranging from a few weeks to about two months. It's always best to ask the office in writing about the expected timeline before signing.
Is there an installment recruitment option?
Yes, Ayady provides access to installment options through licensed financing partners within participating offices, and you can browse workers available with the installment option directly via a dedicated page on the platform.
What if the worker doesn't fit the household's needs?
This depends on each office's individual policy, so it's essential to clearly ask about the replacement or cancellation policy before signing, and make sure these terms are documented in writing within the contract.
Do prices differ based on the worker's nationality?
Yes, prices are affected by several factors, most importantly the worker's nationality, experience, and accompanying services like insurance and training. There's no single fixed price, so it's recommended to request a detailed quote from each office individually.
Is Ayady a recruitment office?
No, Ayady is a digital platform that brings together licensed recruitment offices and companies in one place and helps you compare them — it is not a recruitment office or a financing entity. The actual services are provided by the licensed office you choose.
How do I know the displayed price includes all fees?
Ask the office for a written breakdown of every cost item, including recruitment fees, visa, tickets, and insurance, and make sure there are no undisclosed additional fees before final signing.
Can I recruit through an office in a different city from mine?
Yes, you can sign with offices from different cities across the Kingdom as long as they're officially licensed. Ayady lets you browse offices spread across several cities, including Riyadh and Jeddah, to choose from.
What's the difference between recruitment offices and recruitment companies?
The two terms are often used interchangeably, but some larger entities are registered as recruitment companies with multiple branches, while smaller offices tend to focus on a single area or city. In both cases, the most important criterion remains official licensing and service quality.
What are the most requested nationalities in Saudi Arabia currently?
Among the most available and requested nationalities currently are Filipino, Ethiopian, Kenyan, Ugandan, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan workers, in addition to some workers from India — each nationality with its own characteristics in terms of experience, language, and cost.
Can I see a recruitment office's ratings before signing?
Yes, it's always important to review past clients' ratings and experiences before making a decision, and Ayady provides information and ratings about listed offices to help you with this step.
Is full payment required at the time of signing?
Not necessarily — some offices offer installment payment through licensed financing partners, allowing you to spread the cost over monthly installments instead of paying the full amount at once.
How do I choose the right nationality for my household's needs?
The choice depends on the type of tasks required. If childcare is a priority, you might prefer a nationality known for strong language skills; if general household work is the main need, there are multiple options that fit different budgets.
What are the most important documents to request from the office?
It's recommended to request a copy of the office's license, a written contract detailing all obligations, an official cost breakdown or invoice, and any documents related to insurance or guarantees provided with the worker.
Can the contract be terminated before it ends?
Early termination terms vary from one office to another, so it's essential to ask about this specific point before signing, and make sure any fees or obligations tied to early termination are clearly stated.
Do recruitment offices provide training for workers?
Some offices provide basic or introductory training for the worker before travel or upon arrival, but this varies from one office to another, so it's best to ask directly about this service as part of the offer's details.
How do I contact a recruitment office through Ayady?
After browsing the offices page on Ayady and choosing the right office, you can view its contact details to proceed directly with the licensed office you've selected.
Does the price differ between direct recruitment and installment payment?
Some installment options may include additional costs or financing terms set by the relevant financing entity, so it's advisable to carefully review each offer's details and compare it with the full payment option before making a final decision.
